Bad news for the Boston Celtics, they will have to improvise without having Robert Williams in their line-up after suffering a recurring knee injury.

The good news is, he'll be out for just for a short period after the season begins.

According to ESPN, Robert Williams III will have an arthroscopic procedure on his left knee this week and will need four to six weeks to recover.

The latest procedure is described as a "cleanup" and is expected to allow Williams to return to full strength early in the regular season, sources said.

Williams averaged 10.0 points, 9.6 rebounds, and 2.2 blocks per game, and was a key piece in helping the Celtics reach the NBA 2022 Championship Finals.
