Breaking: New Orleans Pelicans sign one of their star players to an extension deal

CJ McCollum has agreed to re-sign with the Pelicans on a two-year extension deal, worth $64 million, that will keep him locked up till the 2025-26 season.

McCollum's new contract binds him to the Pelicans for four years and is worth $133 million all together.

McCollum, 31, had a career high 24.3 points per game after joining the Pelicans midway through the season, putting him in the top ten in points averaged per season.
