According to NBA insider K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago, the Chicago Bulls intend to trade Zach LaVine once again this summer.

The Bulls attempted to trade LaVine this season, but there was limited interest from other teams in securing the UCLA alum.

Johnson Wrote :

"The Bulls engaged in multiple trade conversations centered on LaVine dating to last offseason, When this season began poorly, both the Bulls and LaVine's representation agreed to be open to trying to find LaVine a new home. But NBC Sports Chicago reported last month that LaVine never specifically asked to be traded. Nevertheless, the Bulls engaged with the Detroit Pistons leading up to the Feb. 8 trade deadline but gained little traction on moving LaVine. A source said the Bulls will look to trade LaVine again this offseason."

In July 2022, LaVine inked a lucrative five-year, $215 million deal with the Bulls. His earnings are set at $43 million for the upcoming season and $45 million for the 2025-26 season.

A two-time All-Star, LaVine concluded this season with averages of 19.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 0.8 steals, and 0.3 blocks, shooting 45.2% from the field, 34.9% from beyond the arc, and 85.4% from the free-throw line. He is set to earn $40.1 million.

Following right foot surgery in February, LaVine is expected to be fully recovered in time for the start of training camp ahead of the 2024-25 NBA season.
