Saturday night witnessed a breathtaking display from Golden State Warriors' Stephen Curry, scoring an astounding 60 points against the Atlanta Hawks.

However, the night held a surprise revelation during the postgame press conference. A vigilant reporter noted that Curry, at 35, became only the second player in NBA history to achieve a 60-point game at this age or older, joining the exclusive club led by the legendary Kobe Bryant.

Bryant's farewell 60-point game in 2016, at the age of 37, had held this distinction until Curry's historic performance, connecting the two basketball icons in an unexpected but illustrious club."

«That's pretty cool. I didn't know that,» Curry said. «That's special—granted we lost. It's just one of those things you feel as you go, knowing we're on a back-to-back coming in late trying to do whatever you can to keep our team in it.»

Set to turn 36 on March 14, Curry delivered a scoring spectacle, hitting 22 of 38 shots in the Warriors' 141–134 overtime loss, playing for 41 minutes. Averaging 28.1 points per game in his 15th NBA season, the defeat dropped the Warriors to 21–25, securing the 12th spot in the Western Conference standings.
