In early January, Chris Paul suffered a hand fracture, resulting in an extended absence for the seasoned player. It has been confirmed that he will remain sidelined until the All-Star Game and three additional games thereafter.

At 38 years old, Paul is maintaining averages of 8.9 points, 7.2 assists, and 3.8 rebounds per game, all while playing a career-low 27.6 minutes per game for the Warriors. Currently, the team holds the 12th position in the Western Conference with a 17-19 record.

Paul's journey this season began with a trade from Washington to Golden State on Draft day in exchange for Jordan Poole. Prior to this, he was part of the Wizards following a trade from Phoenix.

Despite starting in the last four games, Paul has also taken on a role leading the reserves this season. In his most recent game on Friday, he contributed eight points, six rebounds, and four assists in 23 minutes of play.
