The Los Angeles Lakers signed forward Jarred Vanderbilt to a four-year, $48 million contract extension today. The deal is fully guaranteed, with the final year being a player option.

Off the Lakers' bench, Jarred provided just under 8 points and 8 rebounds last year. At only 24 years old, there is a lot of room for growth over the course of his Lakers' future.

Vanderbilt played just 26 games for the Lakers last season following a trade from the Utah Jazz, where he was averaging career highs in both points and rebounds.
