LeBron James, one of basketball's greatest stars, boasts a plethora of accolades and records, including breaking the NBA's all-time scoring record last year. Undoubtedly a top-three player of all time, a recent statistic illustrates just how dominant LeBron has been and for how long.

The statistic I'm talking about is that LeBron James has finished a season while averaging at least 25 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 assists per game on 19 occasions.

To put this into perspective, if you exclude LeBron's seasons, the rest of the entire NBA, in its 75-year existence, has only managed this feat 38 times. The rarity of a player averaging these numbers shows how difficult it is to achieve, and the fact that LeBron has managed to do it in 19 out of his 20 NBA seasons alludes to how generational James' talent is and proves that he is truly one of a kind.

The stat shows the various ways in which LeBron affects the game as an individual. After achieving such numbers for so many years, LeBron has found himself 4th in all-time assists, 32nd in rebounds, and 1st in points, as previously mentioned.

Other notable NBA stars and legends who have achieved this feat over a season include James Harden, Russell Westbrook, Luka Doncic, and Larry Bird, as well as Oscar Robertson, who accomplished this the second most times in NBA history with 9 seasons.

Lebrons Longevity

What is truly scary about Lebron is that he has been averaging these stats just 2 seasons into his NBA career when he was just 20 years old and has been able to maintain his high level of performance still to this day at 38 years old. He shows little to no signs of slowing down anytime soon and could achieve these numbers for multiple years to come.

The record for most seasons played in the NBA is 22 and as Lebron prepares to enter his 21st season at the end of the month then it is possible that Lebron may break this record and not just that but record these insane numbers at the same time. He was already far superior to the other 9 players whom managed to play a 20th season leading them all in points rebounds and assists by far margins.

As the numbers show, Father Time reaches everybody, except apparently LeBron James. With sportsbooks backing the LeBron-led Lakers as the 3rd most likely team to win the Western Conference, it seems we will be witnessing more of "The King's" dominance for at least another year to come.

Lebron's highlights from last season are below.
