It's Official for Blazers' Rookie Scoot Henderson
Portland Trail Blazers coach Chauncey Billups has officially announced that Scoot Henderson will be a starter for the remainder of the season.
He stated that Henderson has shown improvement and earned his starting spot for the rest of the year.Scoot Henderson has averaged 12.9 points, 4.7 assists, and 3.0 rebounds in 43 games this season. Selected as the 3rd overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft, he has showcased promising skills.
Currently, the Blazers hold the 14th position in the Western Conference, just above the San Antonio Spurs who rank last in the West. As the team undergoes a rebuilding phase, it appears that Henderson will play a significant role in this process.
