In Tuesday's defeat against the Phoenix Suns, Khris Middleton, the seasoned wing of the Milwaukee Bucks, suffered an injury. Following the game, medical assessments revealed a sprained left ankle. Although initial x-rays yielded negative results, Middleton's departure from the arena in a walking boot and with crutches hinted at the severity of the setback, as disclosed by Bucks coach Doc Rivers.

This season has largely seen Middleton maintain his health for the Bucks, showcasing his reliability with appearances in 43 out of the team's 51 games thus far. This stands in stark contrast to the previous season, where he was limited to just 33 games.

Since the 2022 playoffs, Khris Middleton's battle with injuries, including a sprained MCL in his left knee, has persisted. Despite undergoing surgeries on his wrist and knee last summer, he has encountered various upper and lower-body issues. With the postseason looming, ensuring Middleton's health is paramount, even if it means sacrificing additional regular-season games. The Bucks' recent loss to the Suns capped off a frustrating 1-4 road trip, leaving them tied for third in the Eastern Conference with a 33-18 record, alongside the New York Knicks.
