Clippers Big Man agrees to extension

Los Angeles Clippers centre Ivica Zubac has agreed to a 3 year 33 million dollar extension according to ESPN.

The Clippers had previously declined the $7.5 million team option on Zubac's contract, which started the way to negotiate a long-term deal.


Zubac averaged 10.3 points, 8.5 rebounds and 1.3 assists during the 2021-2022 regular season. He's a great role player who does his job every night. He protects the rim, sets his screens and plays defence.


The clippers look like a serious threat coming into next year with a healthy Kawhi, a rejuvenated Paul George, Reggie Jackson, John Wall and now securing Zubac. Ty Lue has a big job coming ahead.
