LATEST RUMOURS: NBA insider reveals the new favourite team to land Melo.

Carmelo Anthony has been looking for a new opportunity since the end of the NBA season. Being a Free Agent, has allowed him to meticulously chose his next destination.

He clearly wants to go to a contending team, where he doesn't have to be the main guy but can still contribute coming off the bench. He would like to go to a hard working defensive minded team, that will greet him with open hands.

What's a better opportunity then the Boston Celtics, who are just coming off a finals loss with their young core of superstars. According to NBA insider Brandon Scoop B Robinson, he mentions that the Celtics are the new favourite team to land Melo.




The Celtics gained experience in reaching the finals, they know the bitter taste it left from losing it. Acquiring Melo, would not only help them in veteran presence but also on the court with his elite three point shooting. Melo can still play, he just needs to be in the right situation.
