New York Knicks pick up 4th year option on their top 10 pick.

The last day to exercise a 3rd or 4th year option in a rookie first round contract is Monday October 31st for every NBA team.

Well the Knicks wasted no time and decided to pick up the 4th year option on their 8th overall pick in the 2020 draft.

Obi Toppin's 4th year option is set to get him paid around 6.8$ million. The Knicks succumbed to a lot of backlash after the pick in 2020. However, 2 years later, Obi Toppin has become a fan favourite for the Knicks, with his energy and physicality he brings to his game.
