REPORT: Lakers Interested On Signing Former Wizards Head Coach

The Los Angeles Lakers are looking for another assistant coach after the departure of Jason Kidd who recently signed with the Dallas Mavericks as their new head coach.

According ESPN insider Marc Stein, the Lakers have interviewed former Wizards head coach Scott Brooks for assistant coach position.


Brooks led the Wizards to 8th place finish in the East standings this season but they were eliminated by the Philadelphia 76ers in the first round of the playoffs.


Last week it was reported that former Knicks head coach David Fizdale has agreed to join the Lakers coaching staff.
