Draymond Green disclosed that he advised Warriors owner Joe Lacob against trading Jonathan Kuminga for LeBron James.

Draymond Green expressed his desire to play alongside LeBron James but emphasized that he wouldn't want to lose Jonathan Kuminga in the process.

Speaking on the NBA All-Star Game ALTCAST with Charles Barkley and Taylor Rooks, Green disclosed that he advised Golden State Warriors owner Joe Lacob against including Kuminga in any trade package for LeBron.

"When I talked to Joe on the phone and we were discussing what we have to give up, I said if it's Kuminga, the answer is no."

Since his seventh-round selection in the 2021 NBA Draft, Kuminga faced limited playing time until this season when coach Steve Kerr entrusted him with a more significant role. In 26 starts, he's averaged 16.8 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game, proving to be a valuable asset alongside Curry.

With Kuminga's impact, the Warriors have won eight of their last 10 games, highlighting his importance to the team.
