The Chicago Bulls announced that Forward Torrey Craig will miss significant time with a knee injury he sustained while working out over the all-star break.

Craig was a regular starter with the Suns last year and has appeared in 33 games for the Bulls this year. More known for his defense, Craig is averaging 6.1 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 21 minutes per game. This will be his second significant injury this year as he also suffered a sprain in December as well.

Craig signed a two-year, $5.4MM contract during free agency last summer that included a player option for next season.

This is the second big injury to hit the Bulls, as starting Power Forward Patrick Williams is also down with an injury since Jan 25th and does not appear to be returning anytime soon. The injury to the Bulls frontcourt could make them test the buyout market as a way to replace these players.
