Tristan Thompson had a notable year, making appearances in six NBA playoff games as a member of the Los Angeles Lakers, who ultimately fell to the Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference Finals.

This summer, the 32-year-old entered free agency, and according to reports from Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium, he's set to join forces with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Before his Lakers stint, Thompson showcased his skills with the Boston Celtics, Chicago Bulls, Sacramento Kings, Indiana Pacers, and, notably, the Cleveland Cavaliers. He was initially the fourth pick in the 2011 NBA Draft, coming out of Texas, and dedicated nine seasons to the Cavs, playing a pivotal role in their 2016 NBA Championship victory against the Golden State Warriors.

Throughout his 12-season career, Thompson has maintained solid averages of 9.0 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 1.0 assists per game, with a field goal percentage of 51.9%. Notably, he's seen action in 94 NBA playoff games in addition to his 730 regular season appearances.
