Houston Rockets Guard Kevin Porter Jr. Arrested for Alleged Assault on Former WNBA Player

Houston Rockets' guard Kevin Porter Jr. found himself in legal trouble in New York City on Monday, accused of assaulting his girlfriend, former WNBA player Kysre Gondrezick, according to sources from ABC News. The 23-year-old Porter is currently held in custody at the NYPD's 17th Precinct in Midtown.

Porter returned to the Millennium Hotel in Times Square early Monday morning after a night out with Gondrezick, who they were both staying with. Gondrezick, unhappy with his late return, locked the door. Reportedly, Porter gained entry with the assistance of hotel security and, as per police sources, got into a physical altercation with the woman.

The extent of Gondrezick's injuries remains unclear at this time. Porter faces potential domestic assault charges as the legal proceedings continue.
