Following his impressive 41-point performance against the Clippers last night, the Warriors fell short of securing a victory. This marks the sixth occasion this season where they've held a lead of at least 15 points only to end up losing the game. The recurrence of such defeats is undoubtedly disheartening for both fans and players alike. Interestingly, the only other team experiencing a similar streak of misfortune in this regard this year is the Spurs.

Here's Curry's perspective:

"We're very average, Very average doesn't get it done in this league. We need to make a run, hopefully, we bounce back tomorrow and after the All-Star break hit a stride where we win every game [at home] and steal a few on the road. We've been very average so far, so we have to regain that home-court fear that we have grown accustomed to in the past."

Currently positioned 10th in the Western Conference standings, the Warriors find themselves closely trailed by the Utah Jazz. Should they miss the playoffs, it would evoke memories of the 2020-2021 season, albeit then attributed to injuries, whereas now, the team is at full strength. This raises concerns regarding the future of the dynasty, as it appears to be falling short of its accustomed standards.

Despite a lackluster start to the season, the Warriors opted not to make any significant changes during the trade deadline. This decision has left fans questioning the team's approach, especially considering their early struggles. While the team remained optimistic about resolving their issues internally, it's becoming increasingly challenging to overlook their shortcomings.

The upcoming All-Star break will serve as a litmus test to gauge whether they can salvage a playoff spot.
