Phoenix Suns shooting guard Bradley Beal is confident about his path to securing his first NBA title.

''I believe the Suns can win a championship, man,'' Beal told Marc J. Spears of Andscape. ''We have all the pieces that are necessary. We have unbelievable staff that can best prep us on a nightly basis, and give us all some game plans to follow. Our mentality, our drive; we really want it, we're really hungry. We have a lot of guys on this team and in this organization that haven't won at all. [...] So, that gives a little bit more push and fight edge to do something historical, like bring a championship to a franchise for the first time. That's definitely what brought me here. That's what lured me to this place.''

Beal joined the Phoenix Suns in a trade from the Washington Wizards before the season began. Despite having star players like Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and Beal himself, the Suns ended up with the sixth seed in the Western Conference, falling short of expectations. However, injuries disrupted their lineup, preventing the Suns' Big Three from playing together frequently during the regular season. This dynamic is set to change in the first-round matchup against the third-seeded Minnesota Timberwolves. Despite being the lower seed, many view the Suns as the favorites, a sentiment shared by Beal.

Additionally, Bradley Beal expressed envy towards his superstar teammates when Team USA revealed that Phoenix Suns stars Kevin Durant and Devin Booker were selected for their 2024 roster. Though he's pleased for his teammates' accomplishment, Beal admitted to feeling jealous about their inclusion.

''I'm happy for 'em. I love it, I am jealous, I wish I was on the team, but that team is a super-team, so many talented guys,'' Beal told reporters, per Gerald Bourguet's X account. ''I'm beyond ecstatic for all of those guys, man. I wish nothing but the best. Good health, and bring back the gold. That's all that matters.''

Beal was initially chosen to join Durant and Booker on the 2020 USA Basketball team. However, he couldn't participate due to COVID-19 protocols. This marks Booker's second selection and Durant's fourth, with appearances dating back to 2012.

Beal also acknowledged Jayson Tatum, his childhood friend from St. Louis, for earning a spot on the team.
