Ball is LIFE!

131 years ago, Dr. James Naismith invented basketball in Springfield, Massachusetts. Thank you so much to Dr. James, as this had a huge impact not only on the adults but also on the young ones. This sport generates good camaraderie, teamwork, trust and a positive impact on everyone's daily life. 

It has really had a big influence on our country, the Philippines, which even any part of the rural or urban places has it. 





The first game of the league (i>(Philippine Basketball Association)/i> was played at Araneta Coliseum on April 9, 1975. The rivalry between the i>Crispa Redmanizers/i> and the i>Toyota Tamaraws/i> it is still considered as one of the best in Philippine basketball. As collegiate basketball leagues became more popular, the PBA grew in size and found more suitable venues. The culture of basketball is rich and will surely continue to be so. 

It was a very rich rivalry that was brought here until now by the league's most popular teams. We always look up to the pioneers of the National Basketball Association (NBA) and our top models, idolizing them as the greatest players in the world.
