Kevin Durant came this close to the Eastern Conference Finals with his Brooklyn Nets. However, something got in the way: Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks. The Bucks took down the Nets in the Semi-Finals and, of course, went on to win the NBA Finals.

You would think Durant might be bitter about his loss to the Bucks but he actually has some very respectable things to say about the young, unstoppable team. Speaking with Fanatics View, Durant had this comment about Milwaukee:

And then Milwaukee forming somewhat of a dynasty with that team. I know it's the first chip, and I know a lot of people call you a dynasty after a few. But the continuity of that team is something that's impressive and how they continue to build and add and now they're champions. And you can appreciate that.

Durant is right when he said most people usually hail a team as a dynasty after several successful seasons in a row. However, there is no denying that the Bucks are built for long-term victory. They are young, they are healthy, they have one of the best players in the league leading them, and they have gotten this far by sheer strength and determination. That means they have the wind in their sails. Plus, because of their confidence from winning there is a chance that next season's Bucks will be even more powerful than this season's. That's saying a lot.

Durant is right: continuity means a lot when you are building a dynasty. The Bucks show no sign of losing that continuity any time soon. In fact, they look to be getting even stronger.
