Scottie Pippen on his relationship with Michael Jordan: "We never really had that off-the-court relationship"

Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen are one of the greatest duo in NBA history, winning 6 championships and two three-peats together.

Scottie Pippen made a revelation about his relationship with Michael Jordan off the court. The six-time NBA champion said he never really had that off the court relationship with Jordan.

"Michael was bigger than the game, you know. Even my initial arrival to Chicago he was a big, iconic figure for the NBA So, we never really had that off the court relationship," Pippen said.

Pippen was vocal of his disagreement with the portrayal of him and the Chicago Bulls in the documentary miniseries 'The Last Dance' produced by ESPN Films and Netflix.





He said that the docuseries focused too much on Michael Jordan. "I knew [The Last Dance] was going to be something that was more built for Michael to supersize himself to this generation of basketball players...It wasn't about what we did as a team." Pippen said.
