The Los Angeles Clippers have recently bowed out of the playoff contention. The tandem of Paul George and Kawhi Leonard hasn't produced a championship with their two seasons together.

The Clippers last two seasons were full of what ifs. They had lost a last year's playoffs even they're leading 3-1 in series. This year, they're two wins away from making the NBA Finals with Leonard not playing.

Kawhi Leonard signed a 3 year / $103,137,300 contract with the Los Angeles Clippers, including $103,137,300 guaranteed, and an annual average salary of $34,379,100. He has a player option this year and is expected to to opt out of the contract.

Two teams were reportedly interested on signing the two-way NBA superstar. The Dallas Mavericks and Miami Heat. The two teams were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs.

The Mavs were reportedly a serious threat on signing Leonard. Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis tandem seems not working with the latter reportedly not happy with his role in the team.
