Update: Hawks Down to 2 Offers for Dejounte Murray
The Atlanta Hawks are now deliberating between only two offers for Dejounte Murray as the 2024 NBA Trade Deadline approaches. In recent weeks, several teams have explored the possibility of acquiring the Hawks' versatile 27-year-old swingman.
However, it seems that only a select few front offices have actually submitted offers. As reported by Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports, Atlanta currently has just two active offers for Murray's services."The only teams I've really heard actual offers about have been from the [Los Angeles] Lakers and Utah [Jazz]," Fischer said.
"L.A.'s latest offer for Murray's services is public knowledge, along with the primary obstacle hindering a deal, The Lakers lack a clear package meeting the Hawks' criteria, including desired picks and salary considerations. Additionally, the Lakers will have two extra first-round picks next season for potential trades," Fischer added.
The specifics of the Jazz's offer for Murray remain undisclosed.
However, Fischer hinted that Murray might stay with Atlanta beyond the deadline.
