Luka Doncic's Party After FIBA Loss

Following his team's loss to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Team Canada in the quarterfinals, Luka Doncic, the star player of the Dallas Mavericks and captain of Slovenia's national team, is in the spotlight. Despite being a top player, Slovenia finished seventh in the FIBA World Cup, losing 100-89 to Canada but bouncing back with an 89-85 win against Italy in the seventh-place match.

Canada went on to make history by winning a bronze medal, beating the United States 127-118.

A video surfaced showing the Canadian team celebrating in the same club where Luka Doncic was seen partying. In the video, Doncic was mingling with fans while the Canadian team partied on the other side of the club.

The question is, was it strange for Luka Doncic to be at the same club as the team that beat him?

This isn't the first time Luka Doncic's social life has made news. Videos from his 21st birthday celebration in 2020 showed him having a great time with his Mavericks teammates in Miami, even partying with the famous rapper Bad Bunny.

The concern is whether Luka Doncic's partying might affect the upcoming season. In February, he attended Nikola Jokic's 28th birthday party with his then-girlfriend, Anamria Goltes.

In 2022, after a victory over Belgium in the Eurobasket round of 16 tournament, Luka and his teammates made headlines for being at a party with lots of alcohol that lasted until 5 a.m. The following day, they were defeated by Poland in the quarterfinals, and there were reports linking Luka Doncic's postgame apologies for letting down his country to that incident.

At 24 years old, Luca Doncic is a dominant player, averaging 32.4 points and earning his fourth All-Star appearance last season. Despite the Dallas Mavericks finishing a disappointing 11th in the Western Conference, there is hope for the upcoming season, especially with the addition of new teammate Kyrie Irving. Fans eagerly await to see how far Doncic and Irving can take their team this season.
