After the 76ers' defeat to the Knicks in Game 2 on Monday night, Kelly Oubre Jr. was involved in a car accident, as confirmed by the Philadelphia Police Department to TMZ.

Reportedly, Oubre's 2021 purple matte Lamborghini ran a red light and collided with a 2023 Hyundai Elantra at 1:45 a.m. on Tuesday. Both vehicles sustained damage and were towed from the scene, but no injuries were reported, and the other driver remains unidentified.

''Everything is good. I'm OK. The people that were involved are OK. I need to probably get a driver or something and just stay off the roads, (not) be behind the wheel. But everything is good. I still was able to do my job, support my family, and things are good.''

This accident occurred shortly after the Sixers' 104-101 loss to the Knicks, putting them in a 0-2 series deficit as the action moves to Philadelphia.

This isn't the first vehicular incident involving Oubre in Philadelphia, as he was previously injured in a hit-and-run while walking in Center City, resulting in a broken rib and injuries to his hip and right leg.

Despite the crash, Oubre was included in the starting lineup for Game 3 against the Knicks, showcasing his resilience with a powerful dunk over Donte DiVincenzo in the first quarter.
