Boston Celtics and Dallas Mavericks Complete One-For-One Deal

The Boston Celtics have traded Moses Brown to the Dallas Mavericks for Josh Richardson.


Celtics acquired Brown along with Al Horford in a trade with Oklahoma City Thunder mid-June.

Brown is a promising 7-2 center who averaged 8.6 points, 8.9 rebounds and 1.1 blocks in 21.4 minutes per game he played last season.


He had a 20-20 game last season against the Boston Celtics.


Richardson on the other hand, will provide some scoring and defense for the Celtics. He averaged 12.1 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1 steal on his lone season with the Mavericks.This will be his fourth team in four years.
