Kings Refusing To Include Key Player In Ben Simmons Trade Talks With Sixers

The Sacramento Kings, rumored to be among the teams interested in trading for 76ers all-star Ben Simmons, are reportedly refusing to include guard De'Aaron Fox in trade discussions.

Jason Anderson of the Sacramento Bee first reported the rumor earlier today, before later confirming that the Kings and the Sixers have been on the phone discussing potential deals. The Sixers, who all but officially made Ben Simmons available yesterday, have made it clear that they are looking for an all-star caliber player to add to their roster.

With the Sixers alleged trade demands in mind, it seems unlikely that a deal will get done with the Kings that doesn't involve Fox. With plenty of potential suitors for Simmons, the 76ers are likely to receive a much more attractive package from a team willing to part with their young talent in a win-now move.
