The Dallas Mavericks were reportedly hiring Jared Dudley to serve as an assistant coach for Jason Kidd.

Dudley played his final two seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers averaging 1 point in 57 regular season games. He won a championship with the team in 2020. The fourteen-year NBA veteran seems to be done on playing inside the court and will transition into a coaching role.

LeBron James, which is known as one of Dudley's buddies, reacted on the hiring of the 6'6 forward. The Lakers superstar seems to have mixed emotions with the departure of his buddy.

"Congrats to my guy if this (is) true, which is probably is! But Man facepalming man!! FUCK"

Excuse my language but still one hurt!! For many reasons that you wouldn't understand.

Dudley had his best playing years with the Phoenix Suns where he averaged 12.7 points and 4.6 rebounds back in 2011-2012 NBA season.
