Phoenix Suns VP Comes out as "Gay"

Ryan Resch is the Suns' second executive to come out as gay; Rick Welts, the Suns' CEO and head of business operations, was not only the first, but also the league's first openly gay executive.

Ryan Resch, 29, works in basketball operations for the Suns, where he is vice president of strategy and evaluation and serves as the front office's chief of staff.

Resch announcement comes just one day after the United States Supreme Court announced and decided to overturn Roe v. Wade.

Resch said, and quote:

Ultimately my goal is to normalize for people in and out of the league the existence of gay men and women on the basketball side
