Rachel Nichols Comments On Twitter After ESPN Pulls Her From All NBA Programming & Canceling ‘The Jump' (TWEET)

The ESPN have removed Rachel Nichols off NBA programing and will cancel her show 'The Jump'


Nichols was taken off the 2021 NBA Finals broadcast after her video about Maria Taylor went viral. She faced backflash for the comments he made about Taylor getting a hosting job because of Taylor's race. Taylor already left ESPN a couple of months ago.

Nichols confirmed the news on his Instagram account:


«Got to create a whole show and spend five years hanging out with some of my favorite people, talking about one my favorite things,» Nichols wrote on Instagram.

«An eternal thank you to our amazing producers & crew – The Jump was never built to last forever but it sure was fun. More to come»


Senior vice president for NBA production at ESPN, David Roberts released a statement regarding Rachel Nichol's departure.

"We mutually agreed that this approach regarding our NBA coverage was best for all concerned. Rachel is an excellent reporter, host and journalist, and we thank her for her many contributions to our NBA content."
