Reason why Montrezl Harrell remains unsigned finally revealed

Two years ago, Montrezl Harrel was winning the sixth Man of the Year with the LA Clippers. Since then, he made several stops including the LA Lakers, Washington Wizards and the Charlotte Hornets.

In each of his stops he made good appearance and gave it all keeping a respectable average last season of 13.1 PTS, 6.1 REB and 2.0 AST. However, the 28 years old is remained unsigned as a free agent.

We finally know why the Power Forward and Center is still without a contract despite being one of the best player remaining.

According to Sport Illustrated, Harrel is facing a felony drug charges after police found three pounds of marijuana in his car.

He is facing one to five years in prison with a fine estimated to be between $1000 to $10, 000.

He's hearing is scheduled for August 31 and teams are not interested in Harrell until his charges are settle and be sure that he will be on the court and not in Court.

Harrell did not stop the training and is looking foward on signing as soon as possible.
