Zach LaVine, who signed a monstrous contract that will pay him $215 million for the next 5 years, told reporters on Monday that Chicago offered everything he wanted

I went into the offseason with an open mind and I laid out my goals, just like I always have. Once I was able to meet with [general manager Marc Eversley] and [executive vice president of basketball operations Arturas Karnisovas], and they came to me with everything that I wanted, there was no other reason for me to go outside and look at any other team. I think that would have been, for me, disrespectful on my end because they gave me everything I asked for.

After failing to secure their last star, Jimmy Butler, the Chicago Bulls made sure that this time, not to lose LaVine to FA.

LaVine suffered a knee injury last year and had surgery in May to fix it. Taking the most money he can now and sorting out the rest later was the best decision he could have made.
