In a moment that left fans and players alike in disbelief, Patrick Beverley lost his temper during the dying minutes of Game 6. With the Bucks down by 20 and only 2:32 left on the clock, Beverley threw a basketball not once, but twice at Pacers fans near Milwaukee's bench.

The first throw went awry, accidentally hitting an unsuspecting woman instead of the intended male fan. After the male fan tossed the ball back to him lightly, Beverley retaliated with much more force, narrowly missing a Bucks assistant coach and barely avoided hitting the male fan again. The situation escalated until Bucks forward Jae Crowder stepped in, attempting to calm Beverley, who brushed him off and took a seat on the bench. Security quickly stepped in, removing some fans from the vicinity.

Post-game, Beverley dodged reporters, refusing to discuss the incident that contributed to the Bucks' playoff exit. He did, however, later comment on social media.

TNT's Charles Barkley and Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated both anticipate a severe punishment for Beverley's actions. At 35 and heading into free agency, any potential suspension would carry over to the next season with whatever team might pick him up.

Adding a twist to his controversial night, Beverley also snubbed an ESPN producer post-game for not subscribing to his podcast, highlighting a pattern of prickly behavior, as reported by various sports journalists.
