Per NBA Insider New Orleans Pelicans Making a Major Signing

NBA Insider Adrian Wojnarowski has reported that the New Orleans Pelicans are signing guard Malcolm Hill to a two-way contract. He has recently played for the Pelicans G league affiliate in Birmingham averaging 24.6 points on 44 percent 3-point shooting. He has also spent some time with the Atlanta Hawks and Chicago Bulls.


In 33 Showcase Cup and regular season games for the Squadron, Hill has averaged 22.0 points, 6.4 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 1.5 steals in 34.9 minutes per contest, posting an impressive shooting line of .477/.409/.884.

After promoting Jeremiah Robsinson-Earl to a standard roster spot, a two-contract spot opened up allowing the Pels to sign Hill.
