Oh, the Knicks, it's like they're cursed or something when it comes to injuries. Just when you think they're set for Game 2 of their series against the Pacers, bam!—down goes another player. They were already missing Julius Randle, Bojan Bogdanovic, and Mitchell Robinson. And then, as if on cue, star point guard Jalen Brunson exits with a sore foot in the first quarter. Luckily, he managed to hobble back for the second half, but seriously, can the Knicks catch a break?

But wait, there's more. Just when Brunson makes his gritty return, forward OG Anunoby goes down. There he was, speeding for a layup, and next thing you know, he's clutching his left hamstring, clearly in pain, after what looked like a desperate toss at the backboard. Ruled out with a sore hamstring, Anunoby's exit piled on the agony for the Knicks in their 130-121 victory. The guy's had a rough season, missing 32 games already, and now this.

Now, Anunoby isn't just another player; he's been clocking serious minutes this postseason, almost non-stop, despite his extensive injury history. It was a risky move from the start, and now the Knicks might be paying the price. His injury left guys like Miles McBride, Alec Burks, and Precious Achiuwa to pick up the slack. And with Game 3 on the horizon, everyone's on edge about Anunoby's availability.

Coach Tom Thibodeau seemed out of the loop postgame, with no updates from the medical team yet. The Knicks are stretched so thin that any more bad news could realistically knock them out of the playoffs. All eyes are on Anunoby now, hoping he can bounce back because, let's face it, the Knicks desperately need him. They've got a solid 25-5 record with him in the lineup, proving just how crucial he is. The guy's a defensive anchor and dropped a cool 28 points before going down.

It's a rough spot for New York. As fans, all we can do is cross our fingers and hope the Knicks' medical staff has some magic up their sleeves. Come on, Knicks, let's turn this injury saga around!
