Breaking: Former NBA Star Arrested Over the Weekend!

Former NBA Star Rajon Rondo was arrested in Indiana this weekend for unlawful possession of a firearm, drug paraphernalia and marijuana, all misdemeanor charges. The now 37-year-old former guard was pulled over for a traffic violation when the police officer smelled marijuana. After a search found a firearm, and drug paraphernalia, Rondo was taken to jail in Jackson County where he posted bond. Due to a no-contact order against him, Rondo was not allowed to carry a firearm.

In 2022, Rondo had an emergency protective order filed by a woman dismissed after the "parties reached an agreement," according to a document obtained by ESPN.

 

Rondo is a former NBA star of 16 seasons, his most recent with the Lakers in 2021-2022. He has been to four All-Star games and is a two-time NBA champion.
